CARGO BEACH & TAGHAZOUT BAY
The Cargo Beach Taghazout project was an innovative concept developed for a design competition, aiming to create a unique leisure and relaxation destination on the Atlantic coast. The idea centered around repurposing the structure of a mid-sized ship to house a dynamic space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
The architectural vision reimagined the vessel as a vibrant hub for dining, entertainment, and sports. The ship’s interior was designed to feature a high-end restaurant offering breathtaking ocean views, while the outdoor spaces were envisioned as versatile areas for sports, relaxation, and social gatherings. This approach ensured a balanced mix of functionality and aesthetic appeal, catering to a wide range of visitors.
Rooted in the picturesque surroundings of Taghazout, the Cargo Beach concept aimed to celebrate the region’s maritime culture and natural beauty. By integrating contemporary design with the unique identity of a ship structure, the project offered a distinctive experience that combines the charm of coastal living with modern leisure amenities. This creative approach underscored the potential of adaptive reuse and innovative thinking in crafting memorable destinations.
